Steeped in history, the Princess Freda saw active service in the second world war when she joined the fleet of ‘little ships’ in June 1940 and crossed the English channel to help rescue British troops stranded on the beaches of Dunkirk.

She's taken part in two subsequent commemorations of this event, and on each of these occasions the Princess Freda has crossed the channel to Dunkirk with other surviving ‘little ships’. If you want to read more about this story click here.

This pretty Thames river boat has been restored to a high standard with open front and top decks and an attractive oak and mahogany lined saloon. 

Although licensed for 130 pax, we suggest 50 is best, particularly should the weather not permit guests to enjoy the outside decks. Seats 30 for formal dining.

  • Fri - Sun (up to 50 guests) £230 and (51-100 pax) £305
  • Prices based on per hour evening rates - zero rated. Minimum 4 hours. Daytime rates available upon request. Prices do fluctuate slightly depending on the time of year. Hence, we may be able to offer a small discount on the above listed prices.
